The Summer Bait Grind

Enjoy the easy fishing while it lasts, because once summer arrives, the bait gets tough. It happens every single year—but with the Super El Niño pushing ocean temperatures to absolute extremes, this season is going to be a completely different beast.

Along with the scorching heat, we are going to see extreme currents rip through our zones once the Gulf heats up.

I actually wasn’t planning on releasing this course. But after a flood of requests from anglers in our Grouper Course, I realized it was non-negotiable. They asked for it because they already know the hard truth: Bait fishing and presentation in the summer is a brutal, frustrating challenge.

Anyone can throw a cast net or jig a Sabiki in the spring when the bait is thick and dumb. But when that summer heat spikes, the bait vanishes as the tourists and boat traffic increases, it also becomes incredibly finicky. Combined with raging Gulf currents that blow out standard rigs, traditional patterns completely shut down.

This 8 week course (with Bonus QA) is your survival guide for the hot months ahead. I am going to break down the exact strategies, scouting playbooks, and heavy-current, sub-surface rigging adjustments you need to master the grind, outsmart the pressure, and stay locked into the bite when everyone else is blanking or begging for help in a public Facebook group from a part time “expert”.

Non-refundable.
